Zeno

Il rapporto tra pieni e vuoti, la leggerezza e la gravità materica generano l’equilibro tra forma e funzione. Zeno nasce dal bisogno di un raccordo sottile, quasi invisibile, tra luce ed ombre, spazio e dimensione, concretezza ed astrazione. I tagli netti generano spigolose armonie, luci spezzate contraddistinte da led nascosti ed estesi lungo l’intera struttura portata. Parte dell’illuminazione è svelata. L’unico nodo strutturale è “a vista”, così sottile da generare sicurezza, tensione armonica, spigolosa e allo stesso tempo magica. 

The relation between full and empty spaces, the lightness and the gravity of material generate the balance between form and function. Zeno was born by the need of a subtle, almost invisible connection between light and shadows, space and dimension, concreteness and abstraction. The sharp cuts create rough armonies, broken lights marked by hidden leds stretching along the entire range of the structure. Part of lighting is revealed. The diffuse lighting instead shines through the wooden structure. The only structural knot is “at sight”, so subtle to create in the same time safety, harmonic tension and rough and magical tension.
